How's Eric Reid Doing so far as a Panther?

Besides putting Ertz in a body bag... Eric Killmonger Reid brings run stopping attitude and pain. Refs stole an interception from him for sure. He has missed some tackles yes however this guy looks like a heat seeking missile in run support. Players are being hunted when he is on the field. Good signing Carolina. I expect him to get better as the season goes on. Look for more interceptions and more forced fumbles =)

He also let Vernon Davis go wide open when Luke released him for an easy score in Washington. He bit on an underneath route and let Alshon split safeties at the end of the Philly game. He has been terrible in maintaining his responsibility in search of a big play that he has yet to make. The one time I've seen him actually sit back and let the play come to him he almost had an interception; ironically this was after the play where he busted the coverage.

While he's been more well rounded than what we had previously, he is going to lose a game for the Panthers at some point this season. Any average quarterback will be able to play him by looking him off.

His style of play reminds me of TD. That guy is coming to knock you out. Once he sees what's going on he's there fast. He looks like he is diagnosing plays quickly.

If they can get him under contract for next season and going forward the football decision would really pay off after him understanding the system completely and just play on instinct.

Dude looks like he was on his couch for the better part of the offseason, but he hits hard and I think he's getting more comfortable in the defense.

The dude is definitely a thumper (looks like he could wrap up a little better though). The run game is certainly his strongest asset, but He's getting better every game.

It was a pretty big meltdown. Watch the whole video here

Going out to start a fight pre game while the captains are doing the coin toss is absolutely unacceptable

agreed that the pregame outburst was uncalled for, even though he didn't get out of line with Smith IMO. But that body slam of Ertz....Awsesome!

He has been a much needed physical presence in the secondary. I am confident can cover a TE as well after seeing what he did to Ertz. Reid is playing well and seems to improve every week.

huh?

Eagle TEs had 181 yards and a TD last Sunday.  The TEs owned us.

Flipping Ertz after a play don't mean diddly.  His BEST play wasn't due to good safety play it was due to making a play on a horrific overthrow.   That was the old Charles Godfrey special.  Godfrey use to cash in on picks all the time on errant balls.  He almost always made the catch too.  You want players to capitalize on bad plays but they aren't IMO actual examples of playing the position well.
