Better than if they got Peterson but Apple is a solid player on a not so great defense, he won’t be #1 like Lattimore... and the bottom line is this is not good for us at all.

He’s been better this year for them, but he still kinda sucks. For a 4th it seems like a decent deal to see if they can get something out of him.

I don’t think they had the ammunition to get Pat Pete after trading their 1st and 3rd already.

Oh the Saints defense is in trouble Eli was scared to tackle Moore iirc which I'm sure I do bc I watched numerous times he's weak and frail Saints just downgraded and I'm ecstatic.

Seems like a decent deal for both teams. The Giants were clearly ready to cut bait on Apple and the Saints only give up a 4th and 7th for a former top 10 pick.

There was a lot of talk they would cut him in the offseason so it's not like they expected to get anything for him at all... but yeah that's not much
