our secondary has been bad this year.   Ron Rivera knows defense.   Either his secondary sucks or his DC sucks.  Just because he doesn't say it publicly doesn't mean he doesn't know it.

It's more about the LB's and SS than the DBs. We don't have a true cover LB anymore or a extra S that can run with a TE. Gaulden is probably the guy who they hope can fill that role.

Already gave next year's first ( and second I believe for Bridgewater) to get Davenport and 2020 first wouldn't be nearly enough since it's so far away (no way to justify that to the fans). I'd love to see them trade a ton of assets for him but it ain't happening.

the Saints traded their 2019 third round pick for Bridgewater and they could just decide to forget next year's draft by giving up everything they have left plus 2020 picks
