2 VERY winnable games ahead

Context is everything. They played the Bills, Broncos, Browns, and Titans. Not exactly offensive jugernauts. Andy Dalton shredded them and Brees shredded them in the 2nd half. If we wanna be a playoff contender this is a game we really should win

Not taking anything away from the Ravens, because they do have a good defense, but they are not light years ahead of what we have faced the last 2 weeks or this season in general.

In all honesty, the Panthers have played good defenses pretty much every week.

Week 1: Dallas is obviously better than people thought they were going into the season (currently 3rd in total defense)

Week 2: Atlanta wasn't dominant, but we also played them before most of their injuries (currently 29th)

Week 3: Bengals have been up and down, but have played defense pretty well overall before getting crushed by the KC offensive buzzsaw last night on top of a lot of good offenses so far (currently 31st).

Week 4: Giants have been up and down also, but still in upper half in defense (currently 15th)

Week 6: Redskins are a very underrated defense (currently 5th)

Week 7: Eagles still have arguably the deepest and one of the best D-Lines (currently 14th)

Week 8: Ravens are currently #1, but like other have posted, they have not had a murderers row of offenses like some of the other teams we've played, including the Falcons and Bengals.

Will not be an easy game for sure, but certainly no harder than playing the Redskins or Eagles on the road.  That being said, I don't think the team is going to see this as any harder to prepare for than the most of the defenses we have all year.

Unleash Cam!!

Baltimore game has Vikings 2016 game written all over it. If Cam and Co. go too crazy, mistakes will happen against that D and it'll be a run away train for Baltimore. Flacco isn't going to beat you but T. Sizzle and Co. can

Very good analogy

The Ravens are yet another team coming in desperate for a win, that AFC North race will probably be a three team race to the wire. Flacco has been playing well and their offensive line is protecting, but like the Eagles they don't really have any special talent at running back. We saw what a difference Adrian Peterson made for the Redskins, breaking tackles to help them run clock and put more points on the board. That would have made all the difference for the Eagles.

If we can come out hot on offense for once and a put few points on the board, I think we'll force Flacco into some bad down/distance and maybe even get him to throw us one or two. Would really love a two or more possession victory over a good team and think both these home games are an opportunity with QBs known for throwing the other team the ball.

The Ravens currently have the #1 overall D, but I don't think it'll hold up. 3 of the 4 teams they've beaten have losing records and Buffalo and Tenn are 30th and 31st in offense. Denver is a middling 14th. Their only impressive win was at Pittsburgh when the Steelers were floundering on the ground without Bell (19 yds. team rushing) and they had two turnovers. Baltimore is a solid team but definitely beatable.

Yep... good team, but no bigger challenge than what we have faced with Redskins and Eagles.  Glad we will be at home.

Baltimore will have the best defense we’ve faced all season. It’s arguable they have the best in the NFL right now.

That’s the one I’m worried about the most out of all our future games - even moreso than the Saints. They have an offense that can do stuff and an elite defense to pair.

Their WR core is totally revamped from last year and they had no problems getting open vs the Saints

I noticed that the Ravens oline gave Flacco plenty of time to throw vs the Saints and largely kept Cam Jordan in check

Good point we should be able to slice through the air similarly once we get Cam in a groove.

Key words "vs the Aints" it appears they are back to the usual defensive Saints we're use to.

Pretty solid matchup for us imo John brown vs Donte and Crabs vs Bradberry tightends are gonna be key also that's been very beneficial to the revamped Joe.

When we play the Saints we need that officiating crew. They were calling that PI that we all know the Saints do but never seems to get called.
