we played the giants.....who many considered to be the best team in the NFL for most of the year....and almost pulled it out. they were weak for a couple weeks being without 2 of their key playmakers and playing without confidence but they made adjustments and got their confidence back and we still almost won.

they got a couple lucky breaks with that smith holding call and the wind on kasay's kick and even the OT coin toss. any one of those three things changing and we would probably be cheering right now.

we played the champs and almost had them.

next time we will get them. we won't lose to them twice.

remember what happened to the team after the falcons loss?

i fully expect that kind of run from here on out.

the way that the panthers has played the last few weeks, there is only one team in the NFC that could possibly beat us and last night they did.

it WILL NOT happen again. giants won't beat us twice.

Here Here. Good Post RAYZOR. I am with you on all points.

But this weekends game is sooo important.

Listening to the post game interviews. It is clear the players know they should have won, and they didnt even play close to their best ball, especially defensivly.

I just hope they come out with fire Sunday, I dont know if I can handle a Saints spoiler.

Look on the bright side. At least we're not Dallas fans. :boxing_smiley:

We may not be, but Kurb's point is that we don't sound much different.

^ I agree. When it comes down to it, one player can make the difference in a game played this close. For us it was absolutely the loss of Kemo. Too many holes in the middle. With him the game would have been different. Hopefully he will be 100% for the playoffs.

Hard to be upset with the way we played overall. Yeah there were problems on D but our D has not been as dominant since the bye but we are still winning.

I don't know that losing Kemo killed us.

Losing Kemo and losing Lewis? Yeah :(
