Clete Blakeman doesn’t know what a catch is.

Blakeman is already infamous for his atrocious call in the Super Bowl on Cotchery’s catch. Ruled incomplete because there wasn’t enough evidence to overturn it, Blakeman said.

Today, very similar situation with the Reid INT. Except this time it was called an interception on the field. Ball never obviously hits the ground, doesn’t appear to move. Call was an interception should stay an interception then, right? Wrong. Blakeman overturns an INT because....I honestly don’t know. He doesn’t know what a catch is. Maybe he secretly hates the Panthers.

Do you even realize Blakeman doesn't make the decision on instant replay reviews?

The call was interception. His hand is underneath the ball. There's definitely no clear evidence the ground caused the catch. It took them a long ass time to review it too, you have to uphold the call

This^ There is no clear evidence that that tip of the ball actually touched the ground.   This view right here was the best evidence they had and NO WAY can you clearly say the ball touched the ground.

Doesnt matter, Im happy it ended the way it did-- decisively anyway with the forced fumble recovery-- no question the Panthers won.

Fork the Eagles.

True that. No room to claim a screw job for the Eagles. They got the benefit of a friendly home field advantage review process at the end of the game and yet we still won.

I can just imagine Goodell furiously pulling out a rulebook after the 4th down by the Eagles to find a rule to give them a 5th down.

I've seen a lot of bad calls.  I just can't fathom how you can't get that right though.  This crew needs to be downgraded.  It's getting really tiresome having refs determine the outcome to games almost every week.  Thank God the defense buckled down and got us the win even after that atrocious officiating decision.
