And you’re so pathetic that you “don’t watch football games” but continue to log on a football message board to express your ignorant, baseless opinion.

I think you’re the one that is pathetic. How’s your moms basement treating you ?

I am a pretty light skinned caucasian and I even get what Reid is doing.  Takes only a shred of empathy toward your fellow man to realize racism is alive and well in this country, especially when dealing with police brutality toward African - American's.  Gotta laugh at all these white dudes saying "I dun give a crap about yur stupid politics in fuutball".....redneck trash, always have been and always will be.  Nothing will get you to change these peoples minds and they have absolutely no clue where people like Reid are coming from.  Some of the most hard headed people that can't be reasoned with and only see the world through their narrow view.

reid is a loser who was basically known as the "guy kneeling next to kap"

jenkins has actually gotten money and done something with it.

When it comes to not only police brutality, but overall systemic oppression against black Americans, a few million dollars spread out to unknown charities is not going to get anything accomplished.  You need policy changes.  If Malcolm Jenkins could have gotten NFL owners to talk to their politician buddies and donate to campaigns that work toward transformative politics, then he would have actually accomplished something.

I don't know what was said between Reid and Jenkins.  I said it elsewhere and someone said it here, I'll leave their relationship to them.  This dispute is for them to solve, or not solve.  That said, I personally like how Reid continually point out there's a problem in this country.  Nope, there has never been a fully concerted effort in fixing what has been done to black Americans.  I'll save this conversation for the tinderbox, but I like it.

I see your shot at blacks with your “oppression” comment. You’re not slick.

Also, this isn’t true at all.

I can’t see a quicker way to sow seeds of racial mistrust than to propogandize children with this systemic racism crap. Big cat is 100% right. America is an amazing opportunity for people of all colors and backgrounds but you have to work for it. Nobody owes you anything just because you were born.

Easy for you to say, Saha. Easy for you to say. It’s crap to you, but it’s not crap to those dealing with it.

The fact you choose to continue to ignore what’s clearly present around is astounding, yet not surprising.

Save your nobody owes speech for someone else

All the data says otherwise.  Every statistic has black Americans at the bottom, and it's easy to connect the history.  Yet if you don't know the history, if you don't know the data, you don't know enough to have the conversation.

If they can't blame systemic racism the only ones left to blame are themselves and that sure as hell isn't happening.
