Damn, i love hearing Reid speak on these issues.  I said these exact words he expressed here in the other Reid thread...  that Jenkins co-opted the movement fir his own benefit, then "worked" with Goodell on that coalition which resulted in nothing for the players or bringing attention to the issues.  Proud Eric is a Panther.

This is all good for those that are in the majority. Unfortunately, I can’t just accept that line of thinking. If my ancestors or the ones you call SJWs had your line of thinking, my people would be in chains. My people would still be sitting in the back of the bus, or at the back of restaurant.

 

Umm, sorry. To get anything, as a minority, you have to make people uncomfortable. Your way doesn’t work.

When you’re the lowest on the totem pole, what money do you have as a collective to persuade bigger groups? So, yeah, the peaceful approach was tried and it didn’t work. You also said marching and protesting doesn’t work, so what else is left?

To me a SJW is someone who doesn't look at facts and is driven by emotion and who doesn't understand how the system works and thinks that parroting political talking points ad nauseum actually accomplishes something. I don't have patience for that. Its illogical.
