report a post you think is over the line?

I've only seen one or two "attacks" here that were more like the Davis/Ertz takedown so I racked them up as "off-setting"

like it or not Reid is on this team and to moderate all discussion sparked by his actions would be sticking your head in the sand while pissing in the wind.

It's not about the personal attacks but the derailing of every thread that ends up in a race debate. I mean how many times can we discuss this? I've already been warned/banned with the last telling someone they don't understand sarcasm with the Rihanna thing that turned out the same way. It's become ridiculous and put everyone on edge where you either avoid it or discuss the same thing every week with the chance someone reports you.

Sercey hasnt shown jack sqaut and is hurt last i remember. Being able to play and being healthy enough to play are 2 different things. Reid is not doing any more than anyone else is. Cam has Fought teamates Smitty sucker punched people and I didnt see any screams for their release when this man is peacefully exercising his rights.

Body slamming is exercising his rights? Also he's had a concussion past as well.

Get your talking points aligned and communicate them in a manner that will be well received. Encourage your elected officials to do bthe same. Who had the more lasting impact, MLK or Malcolm X? Why do you think that is? There's too much focus on fighting and resisting these days. If you're resisting then you're letting your opposition dictate your actions. I'm a firm believer that logic and rationale always win out in the long run.

But Martin didn’t communicate in a manner that was well received. He was hated for what he did, and this is what y’all just don’t understand. MLK would have been just as hated as Colin is today, and if you tell me different then you know that Is a bold face lie. You legit have a problem with Eric Reid kneeling. If MLK was out here blocking freeways like he did in Selma, you wouldn’t feel some type of way about it?

Sone of y’all aren’t being honest with yourselves. MLK is looked at as a hero now, but he was hated when he was doing his thing. He was murdered for his peaceful protest. Ali was hated back then as well. It literally takes someone acting a damn fool or getting violent for you all to appreciate the MLK’s, and sadly it’s going to be the same way with the kneelers.

It is not every thread that gets derailed.  Granted a few do but even in those I see where posters learn from other posters.

I looked up the post I gave you a warning over yesterday.  maybe you were being sarcastic but it was totally not called for and crossed the line... In My Opinion.  But dude, I didn't BAN you!  I gave you 10 hours off.  You probably needed the sleep anyway.

Here you go again assuming my stances and putting words in my mouth again. We agree on far more than you would think, but you just can't stand for it because we don't agree on literally everything and THAT is the problem with our country right now. Everything has to be black or white, right or left and we have no hope of improving as a nation as long as that remains the case. No two people will ever agree on everything.

I stand behind Reids cause...

that said, i didn't like him standing out there isolated with the coin toss. go back to the sideline dude..  the team is bigger than your personal beef. Im cool with the protest but starting a fight out there after the coin toss is where i draw the line. Cam did it with benji.. in pre game..

i think this was an attention grab by reid.. then he gets aggressive with torrey smith..

again, i stand behind his cause full heartedly... i didn't like what he did at the coin toss and that doesn't make me a bad person. I don't want his good cause to turn into a license to be a knucklehead

I’m a glass half full guy and think this situation was the first time he is close to someone he has a beef with.  He let his emotions get the best of him this time but I don’t think it happens again.  He’s a fairly smart dude and we’ve got a lot of level headed guys on the team that will respectfully help him keep his emotion in check going forward.

Damn, i love hearing Reid speak on these issues.  I said these exact words he expressed here in the other Reid thread...  that Jenkins co-opted the movement fir his own benefit, then "worked" with Goodell on that coalition which resulted in nothing for the players or bringing attention to the issues.  Proud Eric is a Panther.

i trust you know what happened with Jenkins..

what did he do that got reid mad? honest question today was the first I've heard of the issue

And again, it has to be black and white because your way doesn’t accomplish anything!! It has been tried, and the example you bring up, MLK, was murdered for attempting to do it your way. He was murdered in cold blood, and even before then he had regrets.  We ask you what it is that needs to be done, and you give some answer that’s not even feasible. I mean come on, you suggested paying your way to not being oppressed. How is that possible when the group that is oppressed is the poorest in this nation? So, we don’t agree on everything. You think Eric Reid’s way is wrong, so tell me, how should he or AA’s go about it?

You bring up your frustrations, and again I get it, but imagine how those who are going through and being oppressed are feeling.

ehhh.... he thought about doing it and did it..

again.. I'm a fan of what he's doing and even calling out Jenkins..  standing out there at coin toss to start a fight and then get heated with team mates is not good.
