Tonight we got some motivation and fire to work with. Yes we all wanted a win but at least can walk away saying it went down to the wire and then some. I dont think any sports pundit would have even thought that the game would have even been that close or we would have a chance to even win it. Now that the beer indused anger has worn off I for one can say the team showed panther pride even in this lose. Sure copzilla is gonna talk noise but he cant say this team is some push over that will lay down because its the New York Giants. The defense made some mistakes and I think they realize it and I think its gonna give them motivation. After the game John beason said in an interview on the panthers page

"It's hard for it to hurt right now. I think the word ‘disappointment' comes to mind before ‘pain,'" Beason said. "When you go out and play hard and get beat, it hurts. But when you go out and make a lot of mistakes, you're just disappointed in yourself."

"We need to go back and correct some things. I need to correct some things. I can't play the way I played tonight if we're going to be successful on defense. I truly feel like our offense played well enough to win. We didn't (on defense). We didn't get out-executed as far as scheme. I thought we had a great scheme. I think Trgo (defensive coordinator Mike Trgovac) called a great game. We just need to be more disciplined, and I need to do my job."

I think as a team and especially on defense get it and will get after it starting with practice this week. Am I worried that atlanta will win the division? yes sure who wouldnt be but I dont think this team for one minute is going to sit around and let this loss eat at them to the point they cant perform next week and come out flat. Sure we could have won and sure we will lose some of our glamour we gained in the past 2 weeks or so but in all honesty if the road to the superbowl was easy everyone would be champions. I expect this team to come back with a new fire under it ass and be the first team to win on the road in our division. besides did we really want to have 2 weeks off considering how flat we came out after the bye week. Hang in there panther fans we will get there yet. I just hope the panthers take this lose use it as motivation so we can at least get another shot at New York.

I hope they get another shot so bad, and honestly I woudn't have it any other way than for it to be in NYC again.

If it was almost any other team carolina would have won. Far as Im concerned this was the preview of the nfc championship game. If anything we got some film on what they will try to do against us next time and we will respond in force. Now we got to take care of business next week so hopefully this loss wasnt too devastating for the panthers and their hunger for a title grows.
