After that penalty pushes them back, Ron still doesn't call a TO.  This telegraphs to the team he has no faith in them.  He does this all the time.  Makes calls that scream "You can't move the ball! I don't trust  you!".  Eventually the team plays that way even if subconsciously.  He continually lets them know he has no faith in them.  Personally, I have a one on one with him if I were a player essentially begging him to "give us some damn credit".

You can tell he has a lower body injury. His speed and agility isn’t there and he’s can get his feet set right.
