of course not, but if winning the regular season is good enough for you, then by all means continue to use that as evidence of coaching success.  i choose SB championships.

Everyone wants SBs. And we have been to the SB. And damm near won it. But because we did not win it. Folks call it a failure. A failure the vast majority of all players don't even get to experience.

Also, if you don't win during the regular season, you don't make the Playoffs. If you don't make the Playoffs, you have no shot at those precious SBs you are clamoring for. So yeah, I like winning during the regular season. I mean, it really is pretty important.

I like how you went from the COY Awards are lame. To "If you are satisfied with winning in the regular season" stance. Can't wait for your next one.

Since when did Hubby become so damn defensive and condescending? It's really fugin annoying watching him fight with anyone that has an issue with rivera

I have embraced my dark side. All the negativity got to me. Throw out a good point, you win. Throw out some nonsense, I call it.

You have to admit there is a whole lot of nonsense up in here. It has dwarfed the football talk. I just like going with the majority. Baa baa.

you are intentionally misrepresenting my stance or not understanding it.  either way, i will not argue with you anymore, because it seems that is what you want; not a real discussion.

my premise is that celebrating mediocrity is fine for some, but i do not subscribe to that mentality.  Ricky Bobby said it best - if you're not first, you're last.  haha

you can have the last word.  enjoy your evening.

Aw, look at the little sheep following the flock. What a flocking idiot.

2 time COY. 3 time NFCS winning coach. His team is always near the league lead in fewest penalties. That is just a quick few baa baa.

No need to call names. The COYs are an outlier, and one of Rivera’s Division championships are a result of a 7-8-1 season lol. Above average is a fair assessment imho.

And my stance is we are in a 5 year run that has mediocrity in the rear view mirror. 5th most wins, Playoffs 4 times, 3 Division Crowns, and a SB. Yet, you call that mediocre? The vast majority of NFL fans would kill to be us.

All because we have yet to win a SB. And you just know from the bottom of your heart we never will with Rivera. You want to move on so badly, you are dismissing, and missing out, on a lot of cool things.

Grow a pair. I don't care if you hate Rivera. I really don't. But why do you have to quantify every little thing to dismiss Rivera's accomplishments. Seems rather disingenuous to me.

So what if you don't think Rivera deserved his COY Awards. He EARNED them. Plural-2

So what if 1 of those Divisional Crowns had a losing record. It still happened. You cannot erase history.

You Ron haters are allowed to use any and all tactics to diminish him. Yet if we try and defend him, we have to follow guidelines, and jump through hoops for every fact we offer.

I see both sides--the record has been good--imo, despite RR.  He has benefited by having a Qb nobody can stop (Cam stops himself more than anyone else) and the best MLB in football history.

If we had drafted Marcel Dareus instead of Cam, RR would be the LB coach at El Paso Tech right now.

Yes, we have won games, but when have you seen coaching emerge as an obvious reason?  We have good discipline (low penalties) and poor play calling, clock management, and few adjustments.  We are who we are and most can't beat us--but it RR was playing chess with other coaches, we'd be the Lions.

You need to chill out.  You are doing a fine job of defending your position without the personal attacks.  Stop it.

Rivera may not be a bad coach but sometimes changes are needed .not saying change is needed now

But success with a franchise does not equal free pass forever

Andy Reid

Brain billick

Mike shanahan

Dan Reeves

Are some of the coaches that have had more success them RR and have been fired
