Yeah, just saw that one. It got me thinking, we must have the least knowledgable fan base/report base in the league. Because you know, we are all saying pretty much the same thing while RR does his thing, which must be right. After all, he is a coach in the NFL...

mistakes are fine, everyone makes them; but to continue to make them after 7+ years experience in a position without adjusting or learning from them is the height of stupidity.  the worst part is, when his job was on the line ron actually played to win (instead of not to lose) and it worked out well for him and the team. he even received the moniker Riverboat Ron.  the fact he has regressed to his previous ways shows he thinks his position is safe and that he has learned absolutely nothing; he was only reacting to the pressure.

I mean the part about forcing Moton into action even though he's clearly better than the guys starting ahead of him sums up Ron Rivera's coaching style. It took the threat of flying a plane banner over the stadium to get Mike Shula fired. I guess we need to fly a plane banner over the stadium that says "Go for it on 4th down, play CJ Anderson and Curtis Samuel"

To me, the following quote is the most damning and ridiculous thing (highlighted) I got from the entire article:

Quote

Unfortunately, the outlook for Samuel, and even Anderson, may only change with some unforeseen developments. Exhibit A: Taylor Moton.

Moton, a second-rounder from 2017, tested into the league as an incredibly athletic and physically gifted prospect for his position. His rookie campaign, though, would be mostly muted as he played in 5.9 percent of the offensive’s snaps.

:crying:
