Manhertz shouldn't even be in the game or active if Greg is active. I know Thomas had some rookie mistakes last game but he is still way better than that dude. I would also put Armah way above that guy. Huge BS.

If we run the read option so much to fit Cam why can't we run the hurry up more to fit him better? I don't mind the read option some but it shouldn't be the foundation of our run game. Get the damn plays in and let Cam read the defense before 2 seconds. 

Play the WRs and rotate them in and out. Damn. Samuel needs more time and Moore took his lumps like he needed to as a rookie. Quit playing scared and it's not the 70s dammit.

Read option is garbage, should be thrown in trash.

I think we're seeing the end of the read option offense in the NFL. The new wrinkle has been ironed out by defensive coordinators. 

It's the modern Wildcat.

If wouldn't shock me if we go 3 and out against the Eagles. Norv/Ron test the run game on the first possession. It's predictably stuffed and we don't convert a 3rd and long.

When you run you win. If you can accept that, no, fully accept that you can be consistent. This is an unconventional bunch. Norv has to adjust. Panthers offensive personnel is built for running to set up the pass.

What Chud was good at was understanding that Cam is a fantastic runner. He had all kinds of designed runs for Cam. Running Cam early makes him a better passer, plus the threat leaves a spy on the QB, which can be exploited.

Making Cam a pocket passer has never worked, yeah he CAN do it but then he becomes Alex Smith not Cam Newton.

Why not use McCaffrey and Anderson as a one two punch? Again, Norv has to adjust.

Funchess was open on the bomb. Just couldn’t get enough on the throw due to a dirty pocket.

Seems like there is probably some truth there.  Safety is completely out of the play and you can see Funchess clearing Norman right as the ball is released.

Some seem to still think the ball was tipped but this shows Cam had his arm bumped and ball went slightly off when he threw it.

2 games is 2 games too many. This offense is too talented for that.

It is up to the WR to earn the confidence of the QB.  Having said that, the  focus on getting rid of the ball early does not bode well for TS.

Cam targeted Smith 5 times (among receivers, only Funchess was targeted more).  Smith caught all 5 balls.  Really can't asked for better than that.  Smith, Funchess, and DJ Moore (except for the fumbles) all played well. 

The Manhertz thing was baffing.
