Does Ron need to start calling defensive plays

Our defense has looked like crap, we have a new DC who should probably not be a DC. Ron is known for his high IQ when it comes to defense so why not take the play calling from Washington and do it himself.

If Ron would demote himself to defensive coordinator that would be fantastic.

Washington is going to have to realize we have to blitz. 

The DL "almost" continually getting there by rushing 3 or 4 isn't going to cut it. If our secondary can't hold up for 2 seconds, we don't deserve to win anyway.

When John Fox was here there were a few seasons when the defense looked like this and he started sitting in on defensive meetings and the defense usually improved. Rivera seems to be an extremely hands off coach though. Let's hope he jumps in, otherwise it's going to be a long season from here on out.

After Atlanta game, he said some things were going to have to be addressed.  Cincy game they were, but Giants and Skins game the same issues appear again.

Yes. Ron also needs to come up with the schemes. If anybody has been watching, you can obviously see the defense isn't adjusting to offenses in today's NFL. Turnovers are turnovers, but besides that they're letting offenses march up and down the field
