Opinions: Can this team beat Philly?

No

1. Our offense still looks like it is under Rons control no matter the OC.  We replaced Shula with Norv but still running the same thing.  Way to predictable.  5 rushes to start. That Philly front 7 is going to feast on this offense.

2. Defense, after watching thise Washington TE's torch us, I have Zero hope that we can cover Phillys.  Do you honestly this we can disrupt Wentz? We are 2 weeks removed from not being able to touch a QB behind the leagues hands down worst OL and arguably the leagues current worst QB moved the ball with ease.  No Fugging way we stop that O

Only hope is if Cam picks Rivera and those Goons on his back again and carry them.

This will be an interesting game to see if Norv has had any effect. Last year against Philly, we kept slamming our head against their front. I can see maybe testing it early, but if the results aren't good, it's a game to abandon the run and put in the hands of Cam and the receivers.

We are 3-0 at home, 0-2 on the road.  And both road games have been pathetic performances.  And Philly is probably the best team we have faced on the road yet.  The odds will be against us, but maybe we can come up with an unexpected win, like we did at NE last year.

We played like dog poo in our road games and were taking realistic shots into the endzone at the end of both.  I mean we if just play decent on the road....imagine the outcome.  Not even talking about good.

Also, Philly hasn't been great this year either.  It ain't like we are going to play the Rams or something.

Didn't say they had been great, just think they are better than the Falcons/Redskins.

This team is inconsistent.  Can we beat them?  Absolutely, we can beat any team in this league.  Sadly, we can also lose to any team in this league.  The biggest consistency the Panthers have is playing to their level of competition.  Right now it seems that we went into the bye week with an edge and came out of the bye week without it.  This team will be pumped to play the defending champs though and it's certainly an opportunity to get that edge back.  An injection of confidence could be all this team needs to get on a roll.  This is definitely as pivotal as a game can be this early in the season though.

II'd easily put them in the same tier as the Falcons.

Problem is we likely all are in the same tier right now.

Yes we can beat them, and I think we will.  This forum was doom and gloom before the Patriots game last year too...and we came out of there with a W.  This Philly team isn't riding that wave of everything going right for them like they did last year going to the playoffs, I think we'll win in a close one.
