Opinions: Can this team beat Philly?

Sure we can beat them. We actually match up pretty well against them, they don't have any scary wide receivers or running backs, Ertz is their biggest threat catching the ball. Much like for defenses preparing for the Panthers, it's all about the quarterback. If we can bother Wentz at all, get him off his spot and maybe get a couple sacks then I think we'll be ok.

Their defensive line is scary but that defense overall isn't what it was last year. If we can block up Fletcher Cox, we'll move the ball.

Yes we can beat them, and I think we will.  This forum was doom and gloom before the Patriots game last year too...and we came out of there with a W.  This Philly team isn't riding that wave of everything going right for them like they did last year going to the playoffs, I think we'll win in a close one.

We could go into LA and beat the Rams just as easy as the Cardinals could come into CLT and beat our ass. And thats why its so frustrating rooting for this team

nothing changes. Were the same team that beat Brady in a shootout in Foxborough, beat Rodgers in a shootout, and hung 30 on the Vikings but got smacked by the Bears last year

I figured needing a miracle to beat the worst team in the NFL would’ve been a wake up call to the homers but all they said “other teams practice”, “a win is a win” which is all good but this team isn’t that good. We’re a .500 ball club.

The NFL is continuing to trend towards offense and we like to run the ball and build a defense with a strong front 7.

Everything we’re doing is completely opposite of what it takes to beat the legit teams in the NFL. Not sure what some of you expect.

Yes, make no mistake, not because we are a good team but because this is EXACTLY the type of wins we get. Lose to awful teams like the Skins and Falcons, pull off a miracle win against the one win Giants and just when everyone thinks we are awful, we pull out some random win against reigning SB champs out of nowhere.

This is exactly what I believe, except we are a good team when we want to be.  The Panthers have always played to their competition.  And they will definitely win this week.

The Panthers are a very good team with a lot of talent on both sides of the ball.  But I think they are going through the motions somewhat - staying healthy, working the young guys in slowly, and getting ready for what really matters this year, the playoffs.  They will win when they need to and cruise along when they can.  I think everything will change come December and January.  They will suddenly gain focus and start beating the crap out of teams.  No one will remember a week 5 loss in Washington come January.

Cam and our offense in general has always struggled against the eagles for some reason

His name is Fletcher Cox and last year he dam near single handily beat us. He made Trai  Turner look like  the 2nd coming of amini.

Depends which team shows up for us. I believe we have the talent to beat anyone. It just doesn’t seem like we ever out coach another team.

The defense looks miles from being good. The Norv offense isn't working well enough. The Eagles shouldn't have any problem beating us unless we play an A+ game on all phases. I'd like to bring Chud at the OC, and our DC needs to be fired at the end of the season.
