Anyone Else Feel Like We Waste Too Much Time Supporting This Team?

We spend all week posting on this forum. We watch every second of every Panthers game. We read every tweet about the team. We spend money on tickets and jerseys.

And what are we getting out of it? It's not even entertaining watching this team.

Deep down we all know this team is not winning a super bowl. Every week the team comes out looking unprepared. Every week someone on the team lets us down. Even when the Panthers win, they make silly mistakes that should have been corrected in the preseason.

Am I alone in feeling this way? Is it time to take a break from wasting so much time on this team?

I think the only positive coming from this season is new ownership. Tepper seems like a stand up dude who wants to win. That's all I can think of.

I enjoy it because it is fun.  I like watching the team and also like reading and contributing to  preposterous ramblings in this forum.

Taking the L is never good but I can’t do a damn thing other than sit here and be entertained by the aftermath.

Lazy to promote DC from within, lazy to hire dinosaur Norv, lazy, lazy lazy coaching and effort.  That’s Ron.

All for "familiarity".  Familiarity for something that hasnt really worked that well since he has been here. He wants to run and we do rank high, but if you take away the runs by your freaking QB we are middle of the pack to the bottom on rushing. Passing is bottom of the league every season and defense is only good against bad teams and shitty QBs. Its amazing how people are blind to the fact he is robbing this team of being the best it can be.

You’re ignorant as fug. Cam was literally the only chance we had to come back in this game. If you don’t realize how much he is held back and wins by putting the team on his back every single week then you can kick fuging rocks. Cam makes mistakes but there isn’t another QB I’d take over him.

Cam is tier 2, get over it

You just have to accept the fact that it’s entertainment for us. Outside of going and cheering your ass off you really can’t have any effect on the outcome of the games. If you feel like there’s better uses of your time then sure go ahead and pursue other things, however you know that you’ll miss this poo come the offseason.

If you’re hoping the coaches and players are going to execute perfectly every week then you’re setting yourself up for failure.

Also worth remembering the thrill of victory is nothing without the agony of defeat.

I was pissed and threw a tantrum like a 4 year old earlier but then I realized I’ve got other responsibilities to tend to. So I skipped the 4 PM games to be productive and now I feel much better.

Good game tonight (let’s hope anyway) and being 2 AFC teams you can watch without being upset at the final outcome.

Plenty of open seats at the Redskins game. Maybe you'd feel better in crimson and yellow?

Why the fug do you still post?

To aggravate the hell out of people like you that worry about why I post. Not watching is just my way of dealing with the fact this team sucks. I can't sit and waste anymore of my time watching a mediocre disappointment every Sunday, but scanning the forum for a few minutes every hour is great entertainment. Y'all take this bull$hit way too seriously.

yeah I feel like watching this team is one big waste of time and I'm starting to feel like that about all sports really.

It's a community building event.  It's the reason a lot of teams are animals like tribal times in the past.  No one is making you spend every waking minute watching the team.  Just sit back and enjoy it when you can.
