CJ Anderson says...

Rivera seems to prefer to keep the backup RB fresh in case the starter gets injured but it's a really backwards approach in my opinion, especially with how heavily we're using Christian. CJ should be easing the load, not just waiting for CMC to go down.

I don't know why we signed him. I'm sure he's wondering why in the hell he signed with us. I thought people were crazy talking about making him the bellcow back this off-season, but I had no idea that we would basically not use him at all. Hes one of the highest paid #2 RBs in the NFL yet we barely give him any snaps at all.

Maybe if we didn’t start down 17-0 we would have ran the ball more. Not sure where it would have made sense to feed Anderson yesterday for those complaining. Mccaffrey ran the ball well on the first drive but then we got down so much that we stopped running

You know it wouldn't have mattered.   He hasn't been used right all season.    He had that sweet touchdown catch and then got rewarded with the bench the rest of the game vs the Bengals.    We're wasting someone that can actually run against a stacked box a bit better.   CMC and CJ need to see the field at the same time, way more.

1000 yard rusher and he had 0 carries. I don’t know if that’s on RR or Norv, either way, it’s bs.

In all fairness, after we went down 17-0, I think we called maybe 5 designed run plays the rest of the game. We just completely abandoned the run once we were in catch up mode.

Offense did pretty well after the 3 turnovers. Unfortunately Washington was able to kill a lot of clock because our bend and pray they don't break defense kept letting Washington get 10+ play drives.

Yes, because running CJ into that same front, with the oline not blocking well, would have resulted much different results.

fug, this place is stupid.

Now I think CJ needs more snaps just to give CMC some rest for the long term since he is playing something like 98% of the offensive snaps so far but totally agree with you that expecting some amazing performance difference between the two or any at all really is honestly ridiculous.
