You don't get to tackle the opposing QB seconds after the ball is gone just because "it might be a playaction" in the NFL in 2018. That hasn't been even remotely allowed for a very long time. Everyone here would be losing their mind if it were Cam taking hits seconds after getting rid of the ball.

Calm down.  If the league has allowed the poo to happen that they have to Cam, sorry, you aren't gonna get any empathy around here...  and besides, he didnt even take a cheap shot.  He didnt go for his head, he didnt go for his knees, he tackled him by wrapping him up and throwing him down, just in case it was an option or play action.  That's not what teams have done to Cam...  they hit Cam to take him out woth cheap dirty shots.  Reid cleanly let it be known he was there.

He can't see if the ball is out or not. With all those play actions, reverse screens, etc you never know if he is going to hold onto the ball
