What distraction is that exactly? This article says quite the opposite.

here's the thing, he's a Panther.... so he's part of the family.

but  I expect to see some real results...by the Steelers game, for sure...or he is gone, but really let's give this guy a chance to learn the defense and then be critical. we need a spark in our defense and I really don't care who that is, if by chance it's Reid... fine with me. Just tighten up the D...

Reid is doing what is right and this issue needs to be addressed and he is on a mission.

What distraction? The only peep i have heard from Reid since he has been here has been from people like you telling me his creating division. Since CatTower hasn't replied either, please see above and counterpoint with actual evidence as applicable. I'm completely indifferent to the signing and am not a 'homer', as my recent posts refuting the notion that he has played anything but average-at-best will support.

Your citation is from the first game, whereas my article was from the second game and no media was talking to him so they were apparently done with it after the first week. Also, your citation indicates absolutely nothing about him causing controversy/division within the team whereas mine cites team players as being glad he's there. 

Is this definitive? Hardly, but you've provided zilch about this being a distraction for the team and "creating separation" and proceeded to drop the stale, generic stance of "this board is way too gullible and I'm done doing your research for you" obstinance. I've simply asked for your proof supporting your statement that his presence is creating division to counterpoint "my research" that shows the exact opposite and you've provided none. Should you provide something solid then my opinion may very well change.

Basically, you aren't going to agree to my point unless I'm an actual Panther player in the lockerroom.  Sometimes, you have to use logic to figure out things such as this.  How you don't see a guy more interested in protesting than winning a game is not a distraction is foreign to me.
