Rivera "It's a 4 quarter game"

Recommended Posts

Players screw the coaches in the first half.

Coaches mitigate damage and cut the double digit deficit.

Coaches put players in a position to win the game.

Players fail to be perfect when it comes to game winning drives.

Fans think every lottery ticket is a winner and they can get rich in Vegas, then blame the coaches and players for coming up short in a long shot situation.

I blame the fans for not cheering loud enough to motivate their team and force the Redskins to make mistakes. Cheer louder in an opponent's stadium if you want the impossible win that bad.

If you give these complaints about the coaches or players any serious thought due to this game, you probably think Curtis Samuel should always beat Ryan Kalil in the 40 after giving Kalil a 20 yard head start.

Good coaches scheme to enhance their strengths and to hide or minimize their weaknesses

I don’t see that happening with This  staff.

Almost every Team  has a go to play that almost guarantees a 3 or 5 yard gain. Ours is spread out Cam in shotgun and please Cam do something remarkable like run over 2-3 huge lineman. It works but isn’t great for a mvps longevity in this league. And shows no true coaching ingenuity

On the bright side Ron usually turns into a pretty good coach once he feels his seat get warm.

Problem I have with that is . It shouldn’t have to come to that to start actually coaching. If he isn’t giving 100% don’t ya think that rubs off on the players

Damn, amidst all the other bs this game, how could I forget this? He is an awful coach. I haven’t said it on here yet, but he truly is terrible. Not going for it on 4th and 1 was another bonehead move. He just stared on the sideline. Last week, he wanted to sneak it if cmc didn’t covert that 3rd and 1 for ganos game winner, with no TOs and less than 20 in the clock. He has no game mgt awareness. He needs to step in and call plays for coach Washington, but he won’t. We should have hired outside the org for a dc but RR said, nope. I could go on with how bad he is, but my hands will cramp from typing so long.

From what I've read, Chase Blackburn was the one who convinced him to go for the long field goal.

Blackburn probably deserves a game ball for that.
