Not to mention it was an easy 9 and 7 for CMC right off the bat.  Proceeded to give him sweeps and read option the remainder of the game.  Norv needs to check himself.  

Today was one of the worst coaching jobs Rivera and crew have managed in quite some time.  Just awful.

He has supporters because this team has made the playoffs most of time he’s been here. Not saying it’s purely because of him but when your team is winning the coach gets a free pass no matter how many fug-ups he makes

We got down early and they were killing of us with TOP. We had no choice but to throw more the rest of the game. Offense only had 3 possesions the whole second half. This is why it doesn't pay to be a run heavy team in the NFL cuz that strategy can be abandoned pretty quicky. You have to be balanced from the get go. Also redskins pass D was pretty terrible but we chose to run anyway. No adjusting at all.

It's funny you mention no adjusting because I just saw a fluff thread about Norv within the last few days talking about making as many adjustments as needed at just about any time.

So does Norv suck at his job, or is Ron taking over?

Yes those 5 straight runs set the tone. Redskins got shredded on MNF through the air, but we dont look to exploit the matchups outside until we get behind. I wish we would go into games ready to attack defenses instead of just trying to establish an identity of running the football.
