NFL Network's Tiffany Blackmon reports Greg Olsen (foot) will play in Week 6 against the Redskins.

This backs up Ron Rivera's comments on Olsen's status. Olsen hasn't had any setbacks and remains on track to start after mising the last three games. He's a huge setback risk, but Olsen is a back-end TE1 for Week 6.

Yep, it's probably highly likely to re-break hence why they're saying he'll probably need off-season surgery. If it's as good as it's going to get without surgery, might as well go ahead and play him and hope for the best. Surgery means IR either way.

Not excited with this! They should sit the man have 2 more weeks to be sure. We need him later in the season when we are making a run at the playoffs!
