For the "it's all Ron's fault" crowd:

“He’s a threat, and people have to defend him. He’s running great and he gets noticed out there,” offensive coordinator Norv Turner said Thursday. “Go back and look at the (Giants) tape, third quarter he ran down the middle and beat everybody. Cam just didn’t see him. Cam was looking outside, but it was going to be the easiest touchdown he’s had. He’s a threat.”

Seems like Norv is just as big of a problem with benching of the useless vets in favor of the young guys.

The kid looked unreal in the slot against Buffalo that very first preseason game.

This staff should’ve recognized that and ran with it. Instead they try to make him learn multiple positions and hinder his growth.

Would you rather he develop in the slot due to that game, or would you rather him learn all of the WR positions?

No snark from me, just a sincere question. I think that he is getting the time to learn all WR positions so that he can he a reliable threat anywhere at anytime. I think that might be better for his game as well as his confidence.

Speaking in general and not to anyone in particular l:

I understand that Torrey has not shown up as desired on the field but for all of the folks crying about "$5M for Smith" just remember that he was traded for Worley who then quickly got into legal trouble. Would they rather Worley be taking reps from DJax? Hell, it would have been Cockrell had he not broken his leg.

Look at Ian Thomas. He was blamed for both of Cam's INTs vs. NYG. I think now that Olsen is back we might see more snaps for Moore, but Samuel is back as well and looking strong.

My point is that we are only 4 games in. There are still 12 weeks of the regular season to go. As the season progresses and the youngsters start to show out while the veterans get dinged up, I believe that it can work to our advantage in the postseason. I would be worried about another SF type of mental meltdown again but I have faith in the staff to have learned from that.
