Backs with more and better/at least comparable tape such as Orleans Darkwa, Christine Michael, Thomas Rawls, Mike Gillislee, etc. remain unsigned. Perhaps CAP is better than them as he has at least stayed on a roster but he would also come at a higher cost with the same learning curve. CAP has no trade value.

Of your list, only Darkwa is unsigned. Gillisle signed with NO. Christine Michael was signed by Indy. Bengals only cut Rawls on Wednesday. He might get picked up after the weekend.

I have never understood the CAP love. Whenever he got a chance he was just ok. I’m truely stumped by this.

same here. I sitting here hoping we don't ever have to use him because that would mean that one of our two star backs got hurt. nothing against him, it's just he's not on the level that CMC or CJ are and I don't know that he offers much more than maybe a chance to breathe for the guys we depend on.

Gillislee was cut last week and Michael was cut 2 weeks ago. True that Rawls was cut Wednesday but as of my post he is still unsigned and available, which is why he was included.

Give it a couple more weeks until the trade deadline and you never know who is going to be in need of RB depth... That's all I'm saying...

CAP is still somewhat of an unknown commodity, but there are guys out there with jobs that are less talented too.

CAP can go cut bait for all I care, I'll bet his average yards per carry isn't even three yards.  As fast as Bonnafon seemed in preseason I'd like to see him get a shot just to see what he really is.  We already know CAP is two yards and a cloud of dust.

Narrator: He's wrong... and unforgivably ignorant.
