I've long been a critic of PFF's subjective grading.  They make it look scientific, but it's just one guy's opinion.  To my eye, and I've watched every play more than once, Greg Van Roten deserves a higher grade than he's given.  But then I checked all the grades they gave other LGs, and he's 12th ranked (ahead of the vaunted Andrew Norwell), so good on him.

And our overall team rank might be higher if Trey Turner were in the mix at RG, rather than Larsen, who drags down the grade with his very low 52 grade.

Overall comment on PFF: meh.

Van Roten has been great with run blocking this season. Pass blocking has been so-so, but run blocking is more important for interior linemen than pass blocking to me.
