If you're still going out of your way to poo on Cam this many years in after all we've seen him do for the franchise, you're just a bad person.

Not really shitting on him, it's just his game style. Gotta take the good with the bad. Can't sit here and ignore that bad, that makes you an ignorant person

It's going to suck when Cam retires, and some of the idiots in this fan base are forced to watch a Kirk Cousins level talent try to win.

Obvious parallel in our history would be Delhomme.  As much as I loved Jake at times...during his success he had a monster defense, a top 3 WR in the league, and Double Trouble with some great OL help.

Imagine giving Cam someone like Antonio Brown, in their prime Deangelo and JStew, as well our 2013 defense again.

I've seen you do this numerous times, you seem to flip flop. If that's you then okay. Just dont expect others to simply ignore it. Either you're a Cam guy or you aren't at this point in his career. Yes his accuracy can be spotty, I'm one of the biggest Cam homers here and even I can admit that. But there is of course a difference between acknowledging his faults and just being fickle. There are plenty of fans like that who show up to every gameday thread already.

Very few small white guys would play well in our offense, considering how much of a beating the QB is required to take.

I think Doug flute  Steve young and even Baker Mayfield would be good for the Panthers . just to name a few "Small" White guys

No.  I actually said, specifically, "small white guys" for a reason.

Most black QBs who become starters are huge.  Most white QBs are tiny by comparison, and there are VERY few white QBs who are athletic enough to survive the pummeling Cam has to on a regular basis.  This is simple fact.

Signed - Small white guy.

How small are you?

Hahaha what??  Do you need me to spell it out for you?

1. You said black QB's are larger than white QB's.

2. I responded to this weird claim.

3. You got upset I responded to this.

4. I told you to not type something if you don't want to get a response.

Pretty simple

Let me spell it out for YOU, peanuts.

You said "If you don't like the response to something you typed.... don't type it."

Thus, you are talking about a specific response to a specific post. Not "a response".  "THE response".  I can't look into the future to determine if I will like your response.  So how would I be able to use that as a factor in determining whether or not I should post it?

Pretty simple.  Learn how to read what you yourself are typing.  You did a very good job trying to twist your own words around when in fact you just didn't take the time to make a statement that actually made logical sense.

Have a good day.

Not intending to make anyone butthurt.  Just looking at the players that are "typical" for the demographic.  CMC is an exceedingly rare case.  I'm simply stating that on average, black QBs are much larger than white QBs, and are much, much more athletic.  You're nuts if you think the Rodgers and Bradys of the world can absorb the punishment that Cam Newton does.

It's not a knock against white QBs.  It's just that in our specific offense, there are very few white QBs out there that would be successful.  Don't get triggered over nothing.

Yea, vick and rg3 are huge, And Big Ben is tiny.

Or the fact that I'm just not shy to say his faults. This is a homer filled message board, and I'm just not a homer. Never have been and never will be. I don't like a lot of poo that cam does and I'll never flip flop on it, but we win as a team, and that's what matters. Growing up as a Panthers fan, I've seen nothing but poo qb play, cam offers something different than we've ever seen and although I'm not a fan of his quarterback skills, I love his energy and desire to win. I know reading comprehension is an issue on here, so hopefully you don't look too much into one person's opinions, because, you're probably wrong and then just waste time bitching about it when you could easily ignore it and go about your day.

There are plenty of athletic white QBs in the league, but because they're white they don't get pigeonholed into being the "atheletic runner" that black QBs get put in, even if they aren't athletic. Luck, Rodgers, Blake Bortles, Alex Smith, Mitch Trubisky, ect are all athletic QBs, that ran 40 times similar or better than a lot of your list of athletic black QBs. It was Steve Young's rushing TD recrod that Cam broke, not Randall Cunninghams. The difference is that racist stereotypes exist and permeate the conversation, so you get guys like Bridgewater being compared to Cam and Vick even though he's basically a statue just because of his skin color. You're doing the same thing and thats why people are upset with you.

Well if you don't expound on what you mean by "I don't like a lot of poo that Cam does", that leaves quite a bit open to interpretation.

Anyways. How can you not be a fan of his quarterback skills? The man is a human cheat code. If you give me a choice of any twenty something QB to start my franchise with, Cam Newton is going to be at or right near the very top of the list 10 times out of 10.

His athletic ability is through the roof, no doubt, but he's not a passer. He wasn't ever considered a passer at Auburn either, so I'm mad. Personally, IMO, I just wish by his 8th year in the league he would have developed better accuracy and consistency, but, like I said, take the good with the bad , he's a mismatch for 90% of LBs and any CB/S in the league in ball carrier ability, and they respect that, so it changes how they attack him and us as a team. We've done good for the most part with playing to his skills and abilities.
