Winston Salem seemed to get it bad alot of trees down

Flew around with some Noaa people with work today around Mexico Beach and Panama City

Flew around the keys and Naples the day after Irma.  This thing Wrecked the gulf coast 100 times harder.  Mexico Beach looks like a atom bomb went off.  The picture you see on the news doesnt come close to exaggeration and miles and miles look like the worst thing the media shows

Panama City, high rise condos on the beach looked fine. But just inland a tad looked like PR after Maria.  Boats thrown like toys, 9 put of 10 roofs peeled back like a can half the trees flattened over the other completely stripped clean.

when the NHC goes back and reviews this hurricane season i bet they reclassify michael as a category 5 at landfall like they did with andrew.

yup, found a street last night, still blocked by a fallen tree.

Micheal was still a hurricane when it came through WS. But Hugo was much worse, for this area anyways... the funnel cluster that came through Ardmore in the early 90's was way worse.
