Did you happen to catch Super Bowl 50? 

Guards are just easier to find and develop than tackles. Hindsight being 20/20 and all, I wouldn't have paid Trai either. The OL still looked fine in his absence.

Matt Kalil is trash. Free agency bust. We sure got lucky with Chris Clark though.

I'm really hoping that a team that has struggled for years (the entirety of Cam's career) to field a pair of decent OTs isn't going to get cocky and just let quality starting OTs walk away.

The only way I wouldn't re-sign DW is if our medical team is red flagging him.

LT vs RT isnt as important a distinction as it used to be. Players like Von Miller, Watt, etc are coming at the RT. Leave em be

    Definitely. I’ll bet on an eventual full recovery from a proven commodity over trying to find one through the draft or FA.

Letting Williams walk feels like the correct move.  I don't think Moton can be a full time left tackle in the NFL, and even if he could, you're still stuck with Kalil.

In summary, it’s because his cap hit is huge until after the 2019 season.
