These threads are just as obnoxious as the fire so and so threads.

We get it.

You can reply to one of the many threads already discussing this without running to create another one just to talk down to others.

Shocking that a Rivera hater hates thread (rolls eyes)

My only issue is the 2 minute offense against Atlanta and against NY last weekend.  I don't know if this is Cam or Norv, but this has to improve.

We have a lot of new players on the field because of injuries not to mention a new offensive coordinator.  It will take time to gel.

1. 3 straight division titles doesn’t count as back to back winning seasons? What’s more important winning seasons or Division titles? Rofl

2. From a skills standpoint Manning was better, Brady has the better record, but Manning was the better player.

The rest are you whining lol

Whining about whining is still whining.

And yes, sneaking in with a 7-8-1 record is not a winning season.    It further amplifies Rivera's inconsistency.

Manning still couldn't do anything without a defense.    He started his career with three Hall of Famers (Harrison, Wayne, and James).    Brady never had that talent.      But this debate could go either way, but I'd take Brady any day over Manning (28-3 come on lol).

I'm not actually saying there is a better option RIGHT now, there probably is but I don't know of one, but the guy is not a top coach.

What specifically have I posted that makes me a "Rivera hater"?

In another thread I pretty succinctly spelled out that talk of firing him this season is obviously silly and premature.

I get that in your mind you think your opinion is vastly superior to that of others here, but if you are going to make these claims I assume you can back it up. Correct?

Pretty sure I’ve argued with you about Rivera before, just saying. If you haven’t recently my bad.

(Note: the NFCS is way more competitive than the AFCE has ever been and that’s part of the reason B.B. and Brady have been as good as they have, it’s easy to be in the playoffs every year if the rest of your division has been garbage for 20 years).

If Brees signs in Miami, we'd be living in a whole different world. Brady/Brees would have had some epic battles. NE doesn't get a red carpet invitation to the AFCCG every year. We'd hardly ever have to deal with Brees ourselves. Shoot, NO might not even have a team today. Instead of Bush, they could have taken Vince Young from Texas and with the rumors of moving to San Antonio after Katrina, having a Texas QB might have helped paved the way.

You may have argued with me, but I know for a fact I've posted numerous times just within the last two years that I want Rivera to succeed here. If he gets fired, many things immediately go up in the air regarding the future of not just this franchise but players as well. That is why so many fans here lose patience watching him slip into the same potentially catastrophic game management scenarios each year.

Your immediate response, and attack is exactly why I suggested you consider not immediately running to create threads like this. In that action, how are you all that discernible from those reactionaries that you rail against in the OP?

Manning at his best was and still is better than anything I’ve ever seen, how quick do we forget his greatness.  Guess people only remember what they saw last which wasn’t very good. And you could argue those players are HoF because of Manning. Brady is still the GOAT from a winning and super bowl stand point. But from skills Manning was on another level.

kinda like the old Dan Marino argument.

Rivera to date is the Only Head Coach in the NFCS to win back to back Division titles. Not only that but he’s won 3 in a row.

we play in a tough division, very arguably the toughest division in the NFL and Rivera should receive credit for continually getting us into the playoffs and winning 3 straight titles.

I’m honestly just looking to call out and roast the haters. It’s fuging stupid. We’re 3-1. Rivera like him or not has had a very good record over the last 5-6 years. Top 5 in the NFL good, but you have people coming in here claiming he is middle of the pack when his record straight up says otherwise.

complain about not having back to back winning seasons when he’s the only coach in the history of he division to not only repeat, but threepeat as Division champs.

there are many reasons, injuries chief among them that we should be 1-3 right now, but we aren’t. Rivera should get credit for that.

Man, that’s why I’m on fire right now. People be trippin

When you look at the 4 games we've played, there are minimal improvements. Offense got much better from games 1  to 2 and 3, but regressed in game 4. The defense regressed from game 1 to 2,3, and 4. One thing they have be able to do is force turnovers, I give the D that, but that's about it. There's a possibility when TD returns and Reid get more acclimated that they'll improve yeah but our coverage calls and lack of front 4 pressure is a big concern. You're looking at it from a low expectations perspective and they're just doing better than what you expected.

Good news is we're finding ways to win, but the bad news to me is the Saints. We got swept by them last year so while I believe this team fight to get revenge will prevent that from happening, but if we look at our performance vs theirs against common opponents, it is a cause of concern.
