Am I watching the same team as y’all?(message to the haters)

So after replacing most of the coaching staff this past offseason and the Panthers being decimated by injuries. The team has some how put a 3-1 record together.

Seriously after the preseason and week 1 injuries who saw this coming? Not me, I fully expected us to struggle just to hit .500

offensive line injuries kill seasons, besides the QB they are literally the most important part of a team and ours had 1 remaining starter going into week 2. 99/100 that spells disaster for your team.

What has happened since then is our coaching staff has put together a good unit with scraps and backups a feat that should not be undersold and the #1 reason we are even 3-1 right now. It’s honestly straight up amazing!

Yes the defense hasn’t been playing well, but with that said when has a Rivera led team not eventually figured it out on Defense? He always has and it’s one of the stronger points to having him as our head coach.

The offense is expiring some growing pains yes but they are also markedly improved from the Shula years at the same time, something which has been noted on here several times.

am I the only one that is seeing marked improvements in the team and is actually pretty excited about how things are going?

I thought that after how bad this season looked like it was going to be people would be excited about us being 3-1 with thing s looking pretty good right now.

but instead we seem to be flooded with Fire Rivera threads? After a good win? Y’all want to fire a the Head Coach? You know coaching that take you to a Super Bowl, 3 consecutive Division titles and playoffs 4/5 seasons(heading to 5/6) DO NOT GROW ON TREES!

yall be trippin.

For myself, I just dont believe that we can win a SB with Ron as the head coach. I would like this team to win a SB. Ron is too conservative. Maybe things will change as the season progresses, but I doubt it. The defense is where I find a major weak link.  Davis being back will help Luke but whose going to help Davis. I do believe he has lost a step and maybe that will not hurt too much. I just glad he is back bc he brings a fire, leadership that is much needed and that may be all we need  on defense. Offensively I hope Moore, Samuel, Wright, Byrd are getting more snaps with the 1s. Im not sold on Funchess and Torrey.

I agree that the grass may definitely not be greener. I just wish Rivera would get his head out of his ass. How is he continually making the same mistakes he was making back in year 1? It's mind blowing.

Never expect 100% perfection all the time, never expect to win the Super Bowl every year. It’s something fine to say, something to strive for but to actually legitimately expect it is something else. Becuase no one not even Bill Belichick is that good. (Note: the NFCS is way more competitive than the AFCE has ever been and that’s part of the reason B.B. and Brady have been as good as they have, it’s easy to be in the playoffs every year if the rest of your division has been garbage for 20 years). It’s fine to hope for it, but if you expect it every year you’re expecing too much and will always be a miserable fan. And that’s what we are dealing with Rivera haters. Unreasonable expectations.

You have to have reasonable expectations, a season can be successful without a Super Bowl win. I pull for things in stages. During the regular season I just want us to make the playoffs.  You have to first be invited to the dance. First step of success.

after that I hope for a playoff Win, and getting to the NFCC. And if we get to the Super Bowl then I will start hoping that we win the Super Bowl.

Ive been a fan since year 1, and it gets me every year at the amount of people that think a season is garbage if you don’t win a Super Bowl.

Peyton Manning is the greatest QB of all time, and he barely won 2 Super Bowls(wasn’t a factor in his second win). Brees and Aaron Rodgers are both among the best of all time and they have only won 1 each, Would you say that all of those players only had a combined 4 good seasons? No becuase that’s ridiculous.

And that’s what the Rivera haters are being at the moment, ridiculous.

Im not going to repeat the stats again, but go look up Rivera’s record over the last 6 years(this year included) versus all the other NFL head coaches. Lol at you becuase it’s a lot better than you’re acting like haha

1. When this coach has back to back winning seasons, maybe then we can talk about if he's actually decent.    He's middle of the pack, maybe somewhere slightly better than that.   He routinely gets out-coached.   Other teams and players laugh about it after we lose that we don't change up anything, no adjustments, etc and they knew everything that was coming.     Rivera would find a job fast because he's good for rebuilding teams, like Fox was, but he's not a coach that gets you over the hump.

2. Brady is the best QB ever, not Manning.    Manning only won a SB twice because of his defense, Brady has willed a bunch of no names to more SBs.    Not that Manning wasn't top 5 or anything.

3. Making a whining thread about whining is always worse than the whining thread.

4. I'm not sure anyone deserves to be a coach when they, at this point, still haven't learned how the clock works and things like timeouts and challenges continue to evade Rivera.

5. Keeps playing old guys that aren't producing.    No doubt Torrey Smith suits up this week (I hope not) and takes up tons of snaps, doing nothing.

Are you watching the same team? Cause that was the worst coached game I have ever seen. And it feels like more of the same crap from last year, and fans are tired out of it cause we know how the story ends.

Every time someone brings up the fact that we are 3-1, just remember we are 3-1 in spite of coaching.

All those above the middle of the pack coaches would love to have his record and accomplishments.

Only thing annoying about Rivera is his tendency to stick with subpar veterans.

1. 3 straight division titles doesn’t count as back to back winning seasons? What’s more important winning seasons or Division titles? Rofl

2. From a skills standpoint Manning was better, Brady has the better record, but Manning was the better player.

The rest are you whining lol
