So What Is It Going to Take to Get Torrey Smith Off the Field?

His snap counts so far don't tell us much.

I did some research on Torrey's snap counts, assuming I'd see a steady decline -- but not the case.

Game 1: 51 snaps (76%)

Game 2: 58 snaps (87%)

Game 3: 44 snaps (66%)

Game 4: 46 snaps (65%)

He's been on the field no less than 2/3 of the offensive snaps each game.  With the flashes that Samuel and Moore have shown, and the blatant lack of production from Smith, this has GOT to be reduced.  I don't buy the "veteran leader in the clubhouse" line.  We've got all the vets we need there.  Overdue time for the realization and acceptance that he's not panned out.

an injury , the hate i have towards rivera comes from him playing vets

Hate is a pretty strong emotion, especially to have against a coach who's been successful in guiding what I assume is your home team.

Perhaps you meant to say you found things to be critical about with him?  Life is too sgort to allow hate.

There's zero reason our starting WRs should not be Funch + Samuel + Moore (slot). Not going to find the old thread but I called this exact scenario back in the summer. Rivera would stubbornly be playing Torrey Smith and by week 4 we would all be clamoring for him to play the younger guys

Well, frankly, you didn't have to be Nostradamus to see that coming, you know.
