Guess which Belichick won more games. The Browns Belichick or the Patriots Belichick.

Steve Smith doesn't have the numbers WRs on pass teams have or the numbers he would have had otherwise. Guess which WRs Smitty is better than.

Jeremy Igo is a photographer that had the foresight to create this site back in the early '00s when there was no other good option for Panthers fans. He was also convinced that we were going to trade John Fox to the Giants for a linebacker and a draft pick (he actually said this, I don't forget this) and knows absolutely nothing more than anyone else does on this site. I think the one source he ever had was Jon Beason and Beason hasn't played for this team in like 6 years.

You mean Zod, and there was another site used back in the day from a beat writer most people used carolinagrowl.com I think it was called. Your smear campaign reeks of lies, all lies

3-1 is a good record, but we lost to the 1-4 Falcons,  needed a 63 yarder to beat the lowly Giants, and were not impressive during the opener vs. Dallas.  We ran all over the Bengals and had 4 interceptions, and yet we were only leading by 1 score in the 4th quarter.

This suggests that we are not opportunists.  We play to the level of our competition. We blew leads last year, etc.  However, I have to wonder if running the ball before the kick was not a decision that made Tepper wonder about the coaching staff.

We are fairly healthy, we had 2 weeks to prepare. We barely beat a 1-win team.  At home.

Here is another point:  Cam is best when he plays up tempo.  When we get to the LOS with 10-12 seconds for Cam to study the defense, he is more successful.  Yesterday, we were breaking the huddle between 15 and 10 seconds left.

Now think about the timeout we lost because we can not manage the clock. It could have been the difference.

Now consider his  talent evaluation.  I  think the fact that he is a player''s coach means that he develops relationships with  the players.  That means it is hard for him to be objective.  He plays favorites.  He does not trust rookies.

Ron is not strategic.  We lose leads because he gets outcoached at the half.  Ron is a player's coach--they like him, but a strategic leader he is not.

If we lose leads in the 2nd half I'm unaware of it. Doesn't Rivera have like a 30-2 record or something ridiculous like that while leading going into the 2nd half of a game

I would assume that one who is auditioning to keep their current job is in fact on the proverbial hot seat already.  In which case any blunder that would result in a negative evaluation has the potential to be their downfall.   Ron better step up his game.

Marty is toast.

I don't know how you fire a coach that has the best w/l ratio in franchise history (only 6 wins less than Foxy in 28 less games) for being 3 - 1 after loosing your All Pro LB to suspension, half the o-line to injury, and a depleted safety position.

I was hoping for 2 -2 coming out of this first quarter.

Your gonna need stronger juice than "we aren't opportunistic enough" to move against that kind of record, he's got the hardware and the cred.

I know it's tough watching the 'cardiac cats' , but you made it through.  The Giants were never going to come here and give us the W, they were going to give us their best shot because their season is riding on them getting it right.

They did, and we still won.

Everything is fine right now, we are winning and getting better. I hope the guys get it down and start having fun out there.

IMO Ron is a great coach for a team looking to rebuild, he's not the type coach to get you over the hump though...IMO.

The Superb Owl isn't a hump to get over. It is a frikkin' wall, a well defended, heavily contested one where people will literally stab each other in the backs to make it up that ladder and claim the prize. It is the ultimate, unscripted, no friends allowed Tables Ladders and Chairs match. And as soon as one coach wins it, it's back into the fray again the very next day.

A lot of jobbers in the field, a lot of mid carders, too. Rivera is one of the main event guys, like it or not, he just isn't Ric Flair or the Undertaker.

Sorry, kinda got lost in the metaphor there, but you get the picture.
