Rank the Carolina Panthers receivers, best to worst

Wright - Best hands on the team PERIOD. WRs are supposed to catch the ball.

Samuel - best WR talent.

Moore - YAC, YAC, YAC!

Funchess - someone else said it above but he's a good number 2 being placed in a WR1 role.

Smith - I gave him the benefit of the doubt in the off-season. Now after 4 games, I'm sold that he's only good for vet leadership and should be riding the bench. Either take a pay cut or get cut at this point.

Byrd - I'm probably the only one that doesn't see him as anything more than a return specialist. Yes, he's fast but not durable.

All I know is that Samuel, Funchess, Moore, and Wright should be getting all of the snaps at WR. When we go empty backfield five wide, CMC splits out. With Byrd active for return duties, I'm not sure Torrey Smith should even be getting a jersey on game days as long as those five guys are healthy and available.

Moore and Samuel need more snaps, there is no excuse they don’t have more. This staff needs to realize that.

I was impressed by how strong and tough those guys are.  Samuel's touchdown was all want at the end...was not going to be denied.  Moore just bulled through  a defender.  Also, did you see his tackle when the Giants intercepted the ball.   He picked they guy up and threw him to the ground.

Samuel was probably being eased back in, but both of these guys need to see a lot of playing time and targets, IMO.  And with Greg back.......

It seems Moore always gets YAC. That was a big positive coming out of the draft. He should touch the ball at least 10 times a game. Samuel was a beast as well.

Cam clearly still has the most trust in Funchess right now, especially without Greg on the field. He had an up and down day, but was clearly are our best receiver for four quarters. I think that ends when Samuel is given the snaps he deserves. He is the the guy on our roster with most break out WR1 potential. The future of this team though is clearly CMC, Samuel and Moore. The third receiver doesn't even matter, especially if Olsen can be productive when he gets back. It's funny that despite being our best receiver now, the likelihood of him being resigned drops every week.
