Dude has tons of miles on him.

He is a little slower, and has had some injuries to his wheels the past two seasons. He is and still can be very very dangerous, but he is no longer in the top 2 or 3 backs in the NFL.

This is probably his last year in SD.

And to the guy who said that they should have kept Turner....AJ Smith wanted to, but ownership would not let him. LT has done many things for that team, and the owners decided to keep him, out of respect.

Exactly right. Running backs only last for so long, and LT is clearly done as a workhorse at this point. Turner had so little 'mileage' on him coming out of his contract San Diego that he was the obvious heir to the position. I guess salary cap and all that jazz... can't keep everyone.

Actually I thought LT looked pretty good. I mean you can't expect him to be as good as he was but I do think he is starter material.

This is why I'm so glad we have Stewart to go with Williams. They are extending each others careers right now.
