Take a message to Rivera:

You want to win? You need to stop being Riverboat Ron only when you're desperate and the stakes are exceedingly high. Take a chance at the start of the game. Play some of your uber talented kids who have shown you flashes to begin the game. Play from ahead and stay there. Don't suck.

I don't know where people get off on saying DJ is so good. His main issue coming out of college was failing against press coverage which is why we don't use him on anything outside of screens and end arounds. They know he can't do anything yet. Wish we would drafted Ridley instead but oh well. Moore will hopefully turn into something next year once he's gotten used to all three WR spots.

Samuel I imagine will get increased playtime as he does more in practice now that he's back from his heart issue. Him, Funchess, and Wright would make a solid trio. With Moore or Byrd subbing in as needed.

Disagree with regards to Moore. Granted his greatest skill sets occur after the ball is in his hands, it is still so much more than anything those ahead of him offer. He is ridiculously strong - reminds me of Smitty in that regard. Improve his route running and he becomes a force. He can't get better without game reps, and it's not like Funchess and Torrey are tearing it up.

I think there has to be a reason when it's been this bad. They've mentioned having to teach Moore how to play on the outside.

Man stop was there a reason Moton almost sat the bench for Kalil Amini had a leg up on players who have more talent more strength and better technique. Ron's slow to make changes he hates depending on Rookies because they make rookie mistakes but Vets like funchess and smith can play weak drop passes create no separation jump awkwardly for simple passes have no fing yac but they won't make a rookie mistakes do Ron's gonna Ron imo.

They also mentioned when they scouted and drafted him he can play inside and outside.

Heck it looks like they still need to teach Smith to play outside as well because he looks even worse than Moore when he's had the snaps outside.

I think we can all agree that our receiving corp has the potential to get A LOT better if things pan out.  What we have now is a lot of potential but no one that is proven except for Funchess.  It remains to be seen if Samuel and Moore will pan out, I agree they have the most upside of anyone on the roster but they have minimal touches.  Samuel has 17 career receptions, not really enough to prove things one way or another long term.

Agreed that Funchess has been a touch above mediocre this season but last year he made a lot of big plays.  He certainly an upgrade of Kelvin "lol" Benjamin.

Torrey Smith has been a huge disappointment.  Hopefully we won't need him down the stretch.
