We are the worst 3-1 team in the NFL

For comparison.  Other teams that have 1 loss or better:

Bengals 4-1 (wonder who they lost to)

Chiefs 5-0  (Chargers, Steelers, 49ers, Broncos, Jaguars)

Redskins 2-1 (beat 0-4 Cards, 2-2 Packers, yet to play this week yet)

Bears 3-1 (beat 2-2 Seachickens, 0-4 Cards, 2-2 Bucs)

Saints 3-1 (Beat Browns, Falcons, Giants, lost to Bucs)

Rams 4-0 (Beat Raiders, Cards, Chargers, Vikings)

If I had to rate where we fell in this, I wouldn't put us at the worst.  But In the middle.  We probably have the best quality win out of the 3-1 teams. It does make the Falcons loss sting that much more, though.

I have a hard time putting us anywhere close to the level of the Rams, Bears or Vikings.  Definitely don't see us being on the Chiefs level but they're not in the NFC.

Saints offense vs our defense scares me too.

After seeing stuff on twitter from the some of the big talking heads I am sure we are going to get roasted tomorrow on how us winning was a fluke and all that bull poo. A win is a win in the NFL I don't give a fug what they have to say.

For purposes of predicting future performance, that is a stupid maxim to hold.

Future performance i.e. chances of winning the Superbowl. Which is the only thing that matters.

If we don't have a reasonable chance of winning a Superbowl, then I am rooting for a top 5 draft pick and Rivera being fired.

The goal is to be the worst super bowl winning team .... keep hating haters. I’ll take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day. You want entertainment, go to the movies or a circus

Teams that play badly don't win Superbowls.

A good loss to a good team is more predictive of future success than an ugly loss to a bad team. This is obvious.

Rams, Chiefs and Saints look like the top dogs this year but both are beatable.

We need to get some better defense going and we should be able to make a legit run this year.

I don't think the Chiefs or Saints will sustain and we get both Olsen and TD back next week.

Bears are a flash in the pan, Skins will be the Skins.  Really the Rams and Saints are the obstacles.  AFC sucks.

Saints? haven't looked as good as we thought they would be

We have a new OC with all new weapons (young weapons that will get better each week) for Cam aside from Funchess and CMC. Olsen has been injured and our o-line is constantly changing. We have a new DC with a rookie CB, new NT, and a safety we just signed a week ago. Thomas Davis hasn’t played yet this year. With all of these issues we are still 3-1. Just imagine when our offense and defense starts clicking (which they will!) and TD and Olsen return!
