In what way can he not to both? Stop answering questions in press conferences in this way because its taking up brain space that he should be using for football practice? That's a moronic thing to say

I didn't really see much of Reid on the field.  It seemed like Adams was getting picked on pretty heavily though.  Anyone have input on his play today?  Did he play a lot of snaps?

He was on a snap count. Definitely saw the rust, but that was expected. Yeah they were definitely going at the other safties. Thought the Dline sucked more then the secondary though.

He's not on a team because he's an asshole (everyone seems to forget he has been since coming into the league) with declining ability. This along with the extra baggage and it's easy to see why he isn't on a team. Reid needs to focus on himself and this team or else he'll see himself back on the couch with his kids.

Reid didn't really do anything special today, but it probably wasn't realistic to expect that he would. We'll see as the season goes on.

That said, folks exploding last week like we were one player away from being a dominant defense were severely overestimating what we have, especially in the pass rush department.

He maybe can but most of the best players do literally nothing except football to the point that it is probably unhealthy. Luke has to be told to leave the film room at 10 PM on Christmas Eve. Odell Beckham for all the crap he deservedly gets for being a diva on the field spends hundreds of hours working on just one handed catches.

To be the best at this level, you have to obsessed with the game and there really isn’t time for much else.

Yeah I don't disagree that the top players but the extra hours in. But come on a man is raising awareness of social injustice. If he was raising awareness of support for vets or cancer awareness (for example) would people say he should concentrate more on football - I doubt it

Probably not and if that’s what he wants to do then that’s his decision. He won’t be the best he can be but that doesn’t disqualify from playing in the NFL.

I’d be more concerned that he doesn’t even really seem happy about the win.
