Same here. I was in a bar where I couldn’t hear the audio. I saw 4th and 1, then Cam spiked the ball. I lost my sh1t lol

2 things.... that bulldozing run from Cam was a 1st down.... that hit on cam should have overridden the hold or whatever it was. Based on what I saw on my tv screen we got 5 play for that fg lmbo because it displayed 4th and 1 on cams spike. It was weird. Some people are pissed and noticed it on fb

1. Unsportsmanlike on Funchess was bull (and on 3rd down - I couldn't even cheer the CMC TD after because this call was so cheap)
2. Unsportsmanlike on Cam was bull (at least it should be - stupid rule)
3. Peppers wasn't called for facemask
4. Gano kicked the game winner on 5th down

We got a lot of huge calls go our way. That's 45 net yards and an extra down that we used to kick a game winning field goal on. Really takes the fun out of the game when refs are pulling this poo. Thankfully we tend to avoid refball games but this was just horrid.

I thought that the refs were atrocious regardless of who benefitted. The incomplete pass call on the deep seam pass to Ian Thomas was terrible. Terrible. And that should’ve helped the Panthers seal this thing. So don’t pretend the Giants didn’t get a few gifts as well.

That run at the end was a 1st. CMC came down on the line before anything else hit. It is the TV crew that screwed up on their graphics. When I saw the 4th and 1 I was livid considering the ball was clearly over the line until I saw the spike.

How was that lucky. He could have led with his hands but his helmet hit Funchess helmet and he flattened him. At least that is what I saw on the field and watched on the stadium screen

I'll tell you what. Seeing it live and in person is so different that what you must see on TV. Because some of what you saw I saw very differently. Cam took a shot to the upper body that should have drawn an ejection and automatic 15 yarder. Too bad holding isn't like a five yarder that gets ignored while the personal foul is enforced. That hit on Funchess was nasty and helmet to helmet. Peppers had the neck of the jersey not a horse collar or facemask. And there were at least once if not twice where the Giants defender arrived before the ball did on that last drive and nothing was called because the refs didn't want to influence the game with a call. How about not measuring the first down and giving it to the Panthers so the clock wouldn't stop for a measurement.They didn't want to appear to help the Panthers against the Giants by giving them in essence an extra time out.   So they couldn't say 4th down without a measurement so they had to say close enough and keep the clock running. So Newton spikes it and it takes a 63 yarder to win it. Hardly lucky. But I  understand why the refs made the calls they did and it didn't benefit the Panthers. Now you do too.
