Why did we run the ball?

I'm all about trying to be logical about every situation.  There are +s and -s to everything.

Can someone explain to me though what the + was to running there?  I can't think of it.  Why did we do it?

Gano paid off the coaches so he could kick that game winner and get literally all of the trim tonight.

One of the dumbest, most indefensible play calls I've ever seen. Graham Gano absolutely snatched victory from the jaws of defeat today.

I kind of thought this too, especially with how slow they were lining up afterwards.  But surely our team couldn't be that stupid, right?

When you lose,.. nothing is smart....

All valid on the dumbness if Gano misses that field goal,.... actually now it was the smartest play call ever,...

People here don't understand that. Pregame warm ups... Kicker goes out and sees what he's comfortable with and feom what hash mark. Reports that info to the coaches, and that's what they have their 3rd down plays off of if they're already in fg range

Rivera’s comments before this game still piss me off. Basically said “fug passing more running” and we get this heart attack inducing game.
