Its time to fire Rivera

dude, they just scored 33 pts and won.  get the fug out of here.

I can rejoice that the Team won, doesn’t change anything about the fact that Rivera is a bad coach who has clearly been left in the dust on the coaching spectrum.

Well first of all, there's no one to blame for anything, we won the damn game. But if had to pick a scapegoat for almost losing, it'd be the offensive line for failing to open holes for most the second half. That's not on Ron.

I think Bettcher saw something he could exploit there.

My hope is that either nobody else sees it, or we see it too and we fix it.

I still feel like Ron is better than most, but I also still feel like it's going to be virtually impossible for us to win a Super Bowl under Rivera with as poorly as we play following a bye week. You're always going to be playing a very good team on a hot streak after a bye in the Super Bowl and it's hard for me to picture us winning in that scenario under Ron.

I'm not calling for us to fire Ron, but at some point I think you do have to ask yourself if you're happy to simply be good or if you're willing to roll the dice on being great.

I'd agree with that.

My one really big worry is that it does seem like our division rivals have pretty well figured Rivera's defenses out.

I’m right there with you.

How can a coach after all this time still have so many issues with clock / game management? It is just inexcusable at this point.

We all should be counting our blessing because more times than not it should have come back to bite us in the ass. Thankfully we have a freak named Cam at Qb and a kicker that can sink a 63 yarder with the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Whoever thinks Ronald winning a SB is LOST

He also clapped and smiled around in the war room while Gettleman made his picks over the years thinking he was the smartest man the Panthers has ever hired. He agreed with the picks and hasn't said poo and as you can see our D is suffering, so why Gettleman was released but Ron wasn't?

The Saints and Falcons own us right now because their offenses are tailor made to exploit Ron's defense.

And other coaches can watch that film.

Heck, the Broncos probably owe the Falcons at least partial credit for the Super Bowl.

Why doesn’t any of this fall on Cam? He legitimately had a bad day.

Cam got no help with the running game in a game that Norv wanted to keep running no matter what. He put this offense in a tough 3rd down situations.

On top of that Funchess let a few easy catches turn into incompletions and Ian Thomas was running some sort of top secret route tree.

But by all means, keep announcing to everyone how clueless you are

you can rejoice in the fact that your comments make zero sense given the current circumstances?  that's rich, but not surprising given the current state of discourse in this country at the time.  so, in essence engaging in discussions based around rational thought are a no go with you.  good to know as i am making my way back over to the panther huddle after some time off.
