Its time to fire Rivera

I can cite precedent: Broncos v. Panthers in 2015.

Ref's were paid off obviously, NFL covered it up.

I will need Trump to approve a full FBI investigation that includes an in depth forensic accountant to report on all active referees and there financial ongoings leading up too at least 1 month prior of Panthers Vs Broncos to draw full conclusion on said comments pertaining to Mr. Scott's accusations of Ronald Rivera.

That's ridiculously speculative.

Up until last year, Doug Pederson was one of those guys who'd never been a head coach before. Now he's a Super Bowl champion. Meanwhile, Andy Reid is out there padding his regular season record while still not winning championships.

We all want "Riverboat Ron" to take chances, but we're scared sh-tless to have our franchise do it.

Doug Peterson and Andy Reid are good arguments to be made, but I find Doug's season last year as more of an anomaly in the NFL. For every Doug Peterson there's 30 Lane Kiffins.

A lot of the "Lane Kiffins" are hired by bad organizations.

Tell me about the Browns, Jets, Raiders or Cowboys making a poor hiring choice at head coach and my response will be "no s--t". I'd expect no less from organizations with a history of incompetence.

Again, that's a poor argument for us settling for "good enough" and not seeking to be the best we can be.

Who is available that is hoping to be another Doug or Sean next year?

and actually, Sean hasn’t won anything yet, they are just exciting in season for now until they prove they can get the postseason done,.. hes a young Andy Reid until he can prove that.

but is there someone else like that next year? If so I’m in,.. fire Rivera and go get them.

The argument for trading out a coach who can win his division and make deep playoff and Superbowl runs for an unknown quantity is what causes powerhouse teams too implode for decades. Kind of like some of the teams you mentioned.

Is it possible to strike wildfire with a new unproven coach, yep it is, but it's rare. Mike Tomlin and Doug Peterson come to mind and they account for 3 Superbowl's of the past 20 that were won by highly experienced and tenured coaches who won later in their career. And in that that time frame 100's of new coaches were fired that were inexperienced that didn't pan out

No team "implodes for decades" off of one bad coaching hire.

The Eagles made a spectacularly bad hire in Chip Kelly but were back in the Super Bowl two years removed from his tenure. Hell, we were in the Super Bowl just two years after Seifert.

If you're bad for decades, it's because you're a lousy run team, not because you made a mistake on one head coach.

A bad GM hire has the potential to do way more lasting damage than a bad coaching hire.

Yes, if you hire Marty Hurney 1.0 bad things happen

Bad GM's fire winning head coaches.

How have the 49ers fared after letting John Harbaugh walk out the door.

Fire the most winning coach we've ever had....that's brilliant! (eyeroll)

Heres an idea! Get our defense to lower our ridiculous missed tackle %, get Cams arm healed up, give Cam and Norv another year to adjust to each other, get Gano healed up, replace Olsen, fire Funchess and retain a pair of solid receivers while improving our O-line and were right back into the superbowl.

Anyone calling for Rivera to be fired is just.....wow. I cant help but laugh at the idea or feel sad for people who legitimately want him gone.
