Modern NFL offense vs Panthers offense

Cycles? Lol

Guess what, the cycle now is record breaking passing offenses and panthers are still light years behind the curb.

You just keep going back to 2015, what about the rest of the years? Oh that’s right our offense was mediocre so it doesn’t fit your narrative.

Theirs a reason Norv was fired from his last 3 jobs, cause of chit like today

Even if you go back and check the stats on the 2015 offense outside of averaging over 30 points they really werent that efficient in other stat categories. Ranked in the middle far as passing, just a LOT of big plays that led to touchdowns. Obviously Rushing was ranked high do to a rare good year from Stewart and of course we let off the gas a lot of those games in the second half from building a big lead early. Just an insane amount of splash plays but far from a well oiled machine.  Defense also scored a lot that year which is rare for a Rivera team.

Well I didn’t pass on trading for Flash Gordon,..

i didn’t fail to trade for Brandon Cooks,..

i didn’t pass on Mike Zimmer and Pederson and even Chip Kelly— yes I think Chip Kelly would have put Cam over the top,..

our offense was number 1 in 2015,.. not sure how that’s mediocre.

again— Norv doesn’t have Brandon Cooks, Sammy Watkins or Flash Gordon to scheme for Cam— he’s got too much Fun Fun to play serious football,..feather bones,.. hands of stone,.. and Cotcheries less attractive cousin to put on the field,..and a running back masquerading as a wide receiver,.. should have drafted Ridley,.. there I said it— it’s who I was Gleeming at when we made the pick, broke my heart.

hell our 2015 corps was LiGht years better than these scrubs,..

pass fast and it will be 3 passes punt in 40 second drives with 4 interceptions a game,..

so what can a Norv do?

check downs and Run CMC,.. that’s what,..then pray to Gano

Ha.

So now it’s our receivers fault, I saw enough from Moore and Samuel to know our passing offense shouldn’t be this neutered, when Andrew Luck is passing to a cab driver putting up insane numbers.

Norv had Theilen and Diggs and still was stuck in the mud

Dunno why anyone would be surprised. Ron is a dinosaur and he hired a fellow dinosaur in Norv. People were kidding themselves thinking things would be different with Norv.

Different ...never expected different, just a better version...so far so good and we are still in the early stages....offense will get better ...more concerned about the D

I do wish we'd try to steal from KC's playbook more often. We have speed. Throw Samuel, Moore, Byrd, CMC out there for a drive and see what happens. Do some end arounds, shovel passes, screens, deep bombs, etc with those guys. That'd be fun.

Its lunacy to think that the Panthers style of offense was the problem today.  Mistakes on the modern style passes were the biggest problem, ie two interceptions, bad routes, and a few throws that were off were the issue.  Thomas ran a bad route on the first interception.  The second one shouldn't have been thrown.  The throw was to low to Thomas on the pass that the refs called incomplete.  Funchess should come down in bounds on one.  There was a deeper pass that missed, when Cam could have thrown it to CMC for an easy first down.  And the play call on third down was horrid, but Gano bailed us out on that one.

When your offense makes that many mistakes, and still puts 26 points on the board, the issues are not style, the issues are execution.

Hey I saw Samuel on that last drive drop one to the chest,.... Moore has caught everything his way,.. but Thomas ran wrong routes, Torrey is Torrey and Funchess is Funchess.

The cab driver is better than ours,..

Norv had Teddy Bridgewater,... a real winner to work with, being sarcastic,... you are acting like he was working with Andrew Luck and got fired,..

It's not the Xs and Os, but the Jimmys and Joes.

So now we have playmakers, they're just not getting enough snaps - because they aren't vets or whatever reason Rivera has.

Ron kills me with this BS. He gets in his head that a player isn't ready, and there's nothing that player (or the guy above him on the depth chart) can do to change his mind.

Samuel, Moore and CMC would make 3 offensive skilled players that a DC would need to account for. No one needs to do anything special for Torrey or Funchess. They're simply not threats. Just guys.

I wish Ron would stop focussing on what he can't do with a player, and start focussing on what he CAN do with a player. Moore and Samuel opens plays and abilities that Funchess and Torrey just CAN'T provide.

Let playmakers make plays.

This completely,...

Samuel Moore and Byrd should be on the field with Funchess Torrey and Wright as backups,...actually we should look for some new backups,..

So it’s always an excuse for Norv. Colts receiver look better cause the have better offensive philosophy cause they have a better offensive coach.
