Some people on here thought he wasn't well liked :eyeroll:

That was based upon some of the NFL players. I'm sure that everyone else liked him. He seemed like a likeable guy in many regards.

Smitty, Beason and J-No say "hi" by the way (not that they're aren't others). Keep it all in context, Bob.

In all seriousness, I hate to see him or anyone else like that. I very much want to see him victorious in this fight for his life.

Sidenote. If the goal was to have a thread wishing him well/a full recovery, it probably would have been helpful not to immediately send it off the rails with the first reply. That's on OP.

Well once he moves on from Eli, gets a $2 rookie quarterback that looks like any of these newbie superstars, saves all that cap space and can do what Dave does,.. I’m sure the Giants will start being relevant,..

I’m sure he learned a lesson from trying to get too cute with Norman, Ginn, and other weirdo moves, although his lack of attention to the Giants offensive line means he didn’t learn there.

I think they drafted a guard early in the 2nd and they did sign Solder (who is an actually good LT, unlike Matt...) to a big money deal. Not sure if Herve had injuries or what but yeah their line has still been bad this year anyways.

I'm sure every other player who's been cut or denied a big money contract from a team loves the GM that did it like family.
