5 whole touchdowns from your WR1 in the most pass friendly version of the NFL in its entire history?  Dayum.  That's what I am talking about

I'm sorry, why would 1,000 yards and 5tds be s bad thing?

Look at Julio's TD numbers in recent years...

Funchess doesn’t have the “it” factor. That’s not something you can just flip on when you want to either. You either have it or you don’t.

You know what I have to agree. Fun starts slow but picks it up as the game goes on, that's not one number 1 WR does.

I’ve said this forever. He is a giant pu$$y. No fire. Runs like one decent route - that comeback on the sideline. We should have beat New orleans last year if he catches a ball that any professional WR should. Too bad for him he doesn’t get credited for receptions on all of those double catches he has.

my starters would be Samuel, Moore and Wright. You have 2 speedy YAC guys and a professional veteran WR that can run routes and catch.

He’s high-character, and I’ll never question his toughness.

But no, he won’t be taking the top off the defense anytime soon. I don’t think he’s nearly as sloppy as advertised here in terms of drops, but he’s not crisp in his routes—never will be, likely. I don’t believe that to be an issue of laziness. He’s a big man, and runs like one.

He’s been useful, and has produced. But, sure, he’s not getting top dollar, baring a intergalactic surge in production over the next 3 months.

I wouldn't call him dog poo, but I'm disappointed. I was hoping he'd build on a promising last season but he's back to sporting butter fingers again this year.

That's basically his entire career. The Brandon LaFell of this time.

I think being considered "dog poo" is relative to your expectations.  I have higher expectations for Funchess than 60 yards a game and 1 TD every third game.  For someone playing as a WR1 in a contract year, its dog poo.

The list in the article is mostly full of people not living up to their potential right now.  I don't think anyone thinks Sammy Watkins is truly dog poo.  But in this pass happy era, and Watkin's salary...he is dog poo right now.

Sammy is on a team with many weapons Funchess is not. When balls are thrown to him what few times we have its 50% that he will catch it even if it is a perfect pass.
