Is this the Best Team In The NFL - Love from Nairobi

The Rams are the biggest contender for best team, to be fair. They've got weapons and game changers on offense, and their defense is legit.

We can get there, as I think we are molded the same.

Also, until we beat the Saints this year, I don't think one could make an argument that any of the NFCS teams are better than any of the others. I mean, we lost to Atlanta already, albeit barely, but still.

I think the NFC shapes up like:

Rams
NFCS minus Winston led Bucs.
Eagles - they haven't really got rolling yet, and they are a different team, but they are dangerous
Green Bay - on the decline, tbh, but you can never count Rodgers out
Chicago/Washington - Either of these teams has the ability/tools to be sneaky good. I just don't think they're there yet.
Tampa Bay - They play in the best division in the league, and they have weapons. Still building though, and QB questions.
Everyone else...

As far as the AFC goes:
KC - They are in contention with the Rams right now for best in the league, but I give the nod to LA due to KCs defense being sub par
Cincinnati - Offensive powerhouse and a decent defense. I expect them to crumble once again in the playoffs, though.
Jacksonville - Defensively strong. QB play, WR corps, injuries, etc. are the stories here, but they have the ability to be very good.
Miami/Baltimore/Tennessee - They're still figuring their identities out, but they are over performing when it counts.
New England - Never count them out. They could be in the Super Bowl again.
San Diego - Phillip Rivers is still slinging it.
Everyone else...

It is still early, but at best, right now, I would only say we're maybe 5th best in the league with the potential to be the best once everyone is back and if we stay healthy and play the way we are supposed to.

Rams are better now but I don’t think KC is... They always have started extremely hot with Reid and then faded and there’s no way Mahomes will keep up this play. Plus they literally have the worst defense in the league so far...

I am not yet convinced on KC. Their defense is very suspect. The Rams have convinced me. They are loaded on both sides of the ball and are playing in a weak division. There is strong likelihood that home-field advantage will be their's throughout the playoffs.

Rams and KC haven't played anyone yet. KC is about to hit a buzz saw in their schedule and the Rams will probably clinch home field this year simply because they're scheduled is a cake walk. Basically the Saints and Bears are the only teams that are not soft.

To be honest not worried at all about the AFC.  It’s all about jockeying for home field in the NFC.  Long way to go but will be interesting.

Rams will clinch home field easily. They have almost no good teams to play.

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
