1 Player The Carolina Panthers Must Bench Immediately WR Torrey Smith

Lets call it what it is, DJ and samuel should be the number 2 and 3 recivers behind funch but thats not gonna happen because this team doesnt think throwing the ball is that damn important. Rivera is a great guy but his coaching philosophy blows, we are not gonna win anything continue to play like this. One thing about the 2 remaining undefeated teams in the league is that they are pretty damn balanced on offense. It shouldnt have took the panthers this long to figure this out, consistently one of the worst passing teams in the league and relying heavenly on torrey smith is not helping the situation.

Poor Torrey, no fan even liked the fact that he was acquired in the first place, so he will always be the whipping boy.

Let him make a couple of TD's, or at least a few long grabs, and that will change. Until then, he's going to continue to catch hell on here. I was excited when we got him, but I must admit that he hasn't shown anything yet. Hopefully that will change.

I was happy we got rid of Worley

I was estatic as well.

But how nice would it have been if we just Cut him and spent 7 mil on Honey Badger instead of Torrey Smith.  We could be looking at a tyrann mathieu/reid safety duo right now.

Idk why y’all keep calling him a deep threat. This isn’t 6 years ago. He’s prob the 4th fastest Wr on the team, can’t get separation, and can’t catch.  Bench.

You aint lying

That end of Atl game, Smith was deja vu of Shepard last year.  The dude just couldnt flat out get seperation, short, deep, intermediate.  Just blanketed.  We keep holding out hope from the past that this dude is a legit weapon.  He hasnt been a stud #1-2 in several years.

Yes he made a few plays last year in Philly...........but he was a #3-4 and running a deep post.  Heck Philly Brown made some plays on these same routes in the same role in 2015 yet we're not holding out hope on him.  I get some people say Moore isnt ready yet and cant beat press coverage.  But niether can Smith, and his big weakness his whole career is failure to beat press.

And it's stupid to have Torrey on the field since he has questionable hands and can't make anyone miss

when you're throwing to the sticks, you gotta have reliable receivers who can hopefully beat the first man to them.

Especially having WRs like Samuel and Moore to get those YAC. Smith's game has never been the short to intermediate throws. I think he should suit up but for two WR sets, Samuel should be across from Funch.

Some of us said this the day he was traded for . hopefully he can turn things around and help this team be more consistent on offense

He’s useless If Samuel stays healthy and Moore produces we have no need for sorry Torrey

Not disagreeing, but just pointing out that Mathieu hasn’t played well this year for the Texans according to their fans.

He’s always been a better hybrid than pure safety.

Must have change this week, they were praising him up until last week,  especially seeing him pick off Brady the other week

Dude has graded out as one of their best defensive players on PFF this season
