Falcons Sign DL Michael Bennett After DT Grady Jarrett Suffered An Ankle Sprain. Worked out Kony Ealy as well.

The Falcons can't seem to catch a break. Seems all their star players are getting relatively hurt.

Anyways they signed former Jaguars DL Michael Bennett to the squad and worked out Kony Ealy. Could be showing they fear Jarrett's ankle may be a lingering issue like when they signed a LB for Deion Jones. Or it could be nothing. Who knows.

Not the Michael Bennett that came to mind when I saw this thread. This guy's played 14 games, vs 125 for the better known Bennett.

Just to be clear: this isn’t the good Michael Bennett who used to play for Seattle. This is some random sixth round pick back in 2015 who basically hasn’t played for the last two seasons. 11 tackles, 0.5 sacks for his career.

Not saying you were misleading or anything...but just in case anyone is mistaking Michael Bennetts.

Falcons were due for a injury-plagued season in all honesty.  They have been really fortunate for several seasons in a row, especially during their SB run in 2016 when they were the only team in the league to have their entire  OLine together for the whole season.

I can’t see the Steelers losing to that D at home in a game they need to win to save their season... Falcons likely start 1-4 and are essentially out of playoff race in October... That is lovely.

That wouldn't be happening because he is heading to prison real soon and Kendricks has sealed the end of his NFL career for what he has done.

Man, really shows our injury problems could be a lot worse.  I don't think they've been bitten by the injury bug.  Looks more like an injury tick that keeps sucking starters off their depth chart.
