Again, these are wealth numbers.  This means white Americans who are college educated, have a median net worth of 180k.  That means they own their homes, they have 401ks, etc.  It's a common misconception when it comes to income vs wealth.  The interesting thing is white high school dropouts have more wealth than black college grads.  Yet I will tell you the truth, white high school dropouts make more money than black people with a two year degree or some college.

They're literally not reading anything you put forth. Data doesn't outweigh their personal anecdotes. It actually is easier to chalk them up to being bitter racists than try to educate them bc they're invested in it, apparently.

Most Americans don't understand how well black people have been shut out in this country, to this day.  This isn't just about slavery as it were.  Black people weren't able to be true citizens in this country until the late 60s.  That is actually when we first began to receive any semblance of citizenship.  Take a look at this video.....

This is how well black people have been shut out.

These are wealth numbers, not income.  Yet the median income for white families is 60k+.  It's not hard to imagine college educated white Americans are averaging 80k+ or more.  Overall, wealth speaks to what your own, which in turns speaks to who your grandparents were.

I read the article above as well, and to be quite frank, my grandparents weren’t poo. All of this boils down to a generational inheritance. As I stated much earlier in the thread, just because one is white does not mean he comes from wealth. Same can be applied to wealthy black families. So I pose the question. Is it fair for a black male who owns a wealthy inherticance to attend school for free based on the color of his skin while a white male from a long line of poverty has to pay for his education in full?

You can’t answer yes to to this question and continue to debate that inequality is solely a minority thing. It’s why I commented on this post to begin with. Being white does not predispose you to some sense of entitlement or privilege. Just as being born black does not predispose you to a life of poverty and being stereotyped by authority. Each life is unique and in this great country can be crafted to each of our liking to some extent or another based on God given abilities and hard work.

Yeah.  They write off the data as being flawed, but we can literally look at any chart from any website, and they all say the same thing.  It doesn't matter if you get it from the government, or from stormfront, all studies say the same thing.  Black people are dead last in every statistic possible.  That doesn't make sense for a group that has been here for hundreds of years until you recognize what has happened to us.  They just don't want to recognize what has happened to us.

I must be systematically oppressed since I cant be in the top 1%

You think your life being hard negates racism. It doesn't

Truth is, when you hear people talk about privilege, even in a way that's educational and calm, you get upset bc you personally weren't able to benefit from it as much as you'd like. I can explain to you how white privilege doesn't mean "all white people are rich and have it easy" and you'd ignore it bc you're bitter and racist yourself. Sorry you had a hard life.

You're dismissing date bc of your own lived experiences. There are proven disparities in wealth according to race that have been presented here but you believe it shouldn't matter. It does

If it matters for some it must matter for all.
